Overview
The Department of Humanities & Science (H&S) is established to support the undergraduate Programs of our institution. The department is well equipped with modern experimental setups and ample space for young student’s fraternity to achieve high standard of understanding and learning. The department has published many research papers in reputed international and national level science journal. The curriculum is focus on the recent advancements and developments in the field of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and their demand in applications.
Apart from that our faculties also supports the UG students in their projects, encouraging them in writing articles to publish in research journals and to present them in national and international level conferences.

Laboratory
The Physics Laboratory has spacious, well equipped and fully furnished for conducting physics practical experiments which fulfill the academic needs of the undergraduate students as per Anna University syllabus. Our Laboratory serves as space to gain greater insight into the knowledge of science and true implications of its broad working principles through hands on experience. Meticulous care is taken to strengthen the knowledge on basics of physics henceforth that drives them to a problem solving approach.

Our division is fully equipped with excellent lab facilities including research repository. Incessantly sincere research efforts of our division become remarkable growth in the crucial short period. This provides exhilarating experience of learning and discovering in the ever changing scene of engineering and science and also creates the notable landmark in the history of Mohamed Sathak Engineering College.

Overview
Mathematics is the mother of scientific and engineering courses. Therefore special attention is paid for the development of basic mathematics skills required for technical curriculum. Department of English
Overview
The Department of English with its aim of strengthening the communicative competence of students, facilitates them by employing innovative teaching methodologies. The English Language and Literary Club with its motto, “Express, Excel, Emulate”, plays a pivotal role in fulfilling the department’s objectives of developing Communication, Interpersonal and Leadership skills of students. The qualified and experienced faculty members in the department with their multifaceted and trending approach, help them in academics and beyond, by making them excel in competitions, conducted in the college and by other institutions.
A modern and sophisticated language laboratory comprising adequate systems with internet and the required software facility, helps the students to hone their LSRW skills. The lab offers a wide range of self-instructional materials and learner- friendly modules in language learning. It familiarises Computer Aided Language Learning to students, enabling them to face computer-based competitive exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, CEED and GMAT. The department’s insuperable efforts ensure the acquisition of Communication Skills and Soft Skills to make the students, perform effectively in the highly competitive job market and in developing them as holistic individuals.
